When life gives you construction...
They are building in the tiny lot behind our house.
It not the best thing when your husband has to sleep during the day but,
the kids are loving it!
They know how to make the best out of life.

Everyday Moment
The kids favorite thing to do is sit on their dad's lap and watch mormom messages. It warms my heart. It's the simple things like this that make life priceless.
This is their favorite, they ask to watch it over and over and
love to sing along.

Mad scientist playdate
Our friend Ralae put on a great playgroup! It was a hit.
She showed the kids some great experiences which they got a kick out of and were learning too. (but don't tell them that)
and then they made slime
It's easy and fun to make:
Mix 1 teaspoon borax in 1 cup of water.
In separate container, mix 1/2 cup of white glue with 1/2 cup water (add food coloring in you want)
Mix it together!

Dads
“It must be emphasized that as a father, you are always teaching. For good or ill your family learns your ways, your beliefs, your heart, your ideas, your concerns. Your children may or may not choose to follow you, but the example you give is the greatest light you hold before your children, and you are accountable for that light.”
The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Ensign, Jun 2002, 12I have the best dads in my life!
I love you Daddy!
Thanks for everything you all have taught us!

Colorado Mountains
We loved loved loved being in the mountains!
How we miss them!
When we finally got to where we were driving up in the mountains Boyce kept saying "We are catching up to the mountains!"
It was hard to come back.
Nebraska even feel flatter now (if that is possible)
It was so fun to be with Brian and Amanda too. Brian is Mark's brother.
Boyce and Avery couldn't be separated and we finally got to meet little Lily.

Summer Beginnings
I wanted to remember that summer is just beginning for 2 reasons:
1- It always goes too fast
2- Today I saw that Hobby Lobby had their fall stuff up for sale!
our little garden just starting to grow
Scout camp
our beautiful flowers in front of our house

Badges of fun
Boyce has been crazy about merit badges
since Mark became the scout master
So we were excited when we stumbled on this, Badges of fun
You choose the activity you want to do and
post about it and get a badge
and I might add you get a gift card to REI if you hurry
We painted rocks.
All the neighbor kids saw and wanted in on our fun!
We are looking for to the next badge

Star Wars and Eve
Boyce loves playing Lego Star Wars and Eve loves singing the theme song!
This is the best attempt to get her singing it on film.
