New Baby

We have a beautiful new niece- Sybil Sue. We took a little trip to Arizona to see her get blessed. It was so fun being with our family, My mom and dad were there too. We went to see some ruins, went to the zoo and just had fun in the sun.

Mark and I felt strongly that we were supposed to moved to Vegas after graduation from BYU. We thought we were coming here to eventually go to dental school. Little did we know the Lord had different plans for us. It's a really long story and I want to spare you all the details, so suffice it to say, during the last two months numerous experiences and many people we have met have lead us to the conclusion that the Lord wants Mark to go into Nursing. So as often happens years of prepartion has leads us down an entirely different path then we have planned. We know the Lord led us to Las Vegas to meet the right people and have experiences to lead us the right way.

We are exicted to move forward and know what is right. We would tell you the details of our plans but they are subject to change. :) Stay tuned for more.

Mark and I had so much fun taking these pictures of our big boy at the park right by our place. I loved so many of them I decided to made a slide show. enjoy.

Happy 1st Birthday

What a great year. It went so fast for us, but then again I really can't remember life without our sweet Boyce. This year has been great as we have watch Boyce grow and learn. He is so much fun and his little personality is a crack up. We love him!!We had a fun day. Luckily we had beautiful weather. We spent the morning at the park, then the afternoon at the Shark Aquarium-which was so cool (way too much money though). We saw some really cool things, but my favorite was just watching Boyce- he loves it and got so excited when we saw the fish and sharks.

great weekend

We had a great weekend. My little brother Joe and his wife Mal came to visit from Utah. We felt bad because we didn't have the great weather like they were looking for but it was a good time still. We shopped, the boys golfed, we went to Red Rock Canyon and ate great food, we even had an early little birthday party for Boyce.

Mark, Boyce and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner on Valentine's Day. Even with our little boy it was fun and romantic. Joe offered to watch him but we just couldn't do that to them on Valentine's day- but thanks joe! :)

ready for Valentine's and the Kazo band

I already got beautiful flowers from my sweet boys, Mark and my dad. Thank you so much they brighten my day. And I had a fun time making yummy cute treats.

the joys of teething

-No sleep

FHE

On Monday we went to the Ethel M Chocolate factory. They have some yummy chocolate, but it's pricey so we could only afford the free samples. It was fun to walk around the Botanical Cactus garden afterwards. It's fun to see all the different kinds and learn a little about the plants in this area. One thing we learned is you don't want to step off the trail!

Red Rock Canyon

We live so close to Red Rock Canyon and on Saturday we drove up there a took a little hike. It's such a beautiful place. Besides his one little tumble Boyce loved it!
